| Abstract | This paper focuses to the simulation and modelling of a Power-Split in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) , this is a planetary gearset because of its mutually combination of both series and parallel systems in the electrical vehicles.it is improved by the use of MATLAB/Simulink environment, this simulation model having several subsystems: it having the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), requiring electric motor-generators are two(MG1 and MG2), a high-voltage battery pack, and it having the DC-DC converter. The point of view of the simulation is the Power-Split Device (PSD), if its dynamically allocates power between the engine and the electric motors to maintain charge battery state by optimize fuel efficiency. A rule-based Energy Management Strategy (EMS), implemented to Stateflow, is utilized to transition between various operating modes, including pure Electric Vehicle (EV) mode, hybrid mode of electrical vehicle, and regenerative brakingof the motor. |
