Parental Involvement and its Influence on Reading Skills Development

Abstract Parental involvement is widely recognized as a key factor in early literacy development; however, its effectiveness is influenced by the type, quality, and alignment of engagement with classroom instruction. This study investigated the level of parental involvement and its relationship with the reading skills of Grade One learners in Cebu.
