| Abstract | Youth involvement in criminal activities has become a significant concern in contemporary society, particularly among individuals transitioning from youth to adulthood. The analysis of youth and crime focuses on identifying patterns of criminal behaviour, emerging trends, and effective preventive measures to address the issue. Social, economic, psychological, and environmental factors, such as unemployment, peer influence, familial background, substance abuse, and urbanisation, significantly impact criminal behaviour among youth. Understanding these factors aids in developing specific preventive techniques, rehabilitation programs, and legislative measures aimed at reducing crime rates and improving societal stability. This research examines the patterns and trends of juvenile criminal behaviour and highlights preventive strategies that could improve crime control and youth development. |
