| Abstract | Social media has become an integral part of students' daily lives and significantly influences their learning experiences. College students use various social media platforms for communication, entertainment, information sharing, and academic purposes. While social media offers opportunities for collaborative learning and knowledge acquisition, excessive usage may affect students' academic motivation. The present study investigates the level of social media usage and academic motivation among college students and examines the relationship between these variables. A normative survey method was adopted, and data were collected from 400 college students using standardized questionnaires. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for educators, parents, and policymakers regarding the effective use of social media for academic development. |
